The JV team hosted Pittsburg at home where they were defeated 18-25, Oct. 2.

The Cubs offense started out strong with the first two touchdowns of the game, but then slowed down close to halftime as Pittsburg picked up their offensive tempo.

Cooper Jaro, so., picked up 143 yards, while Coronado, so., threw for 129 yards and three touchdowns for the night.

“Our effort was pretty good most of the game,” Jeremy Weilert, assistant coach, said. “We just had too many self-induced errors.”
