Gotham is an American crime television series based on characters appearing in the Batman comic by DC Comics. Primarily, the characters of James Gordon and Bruce Wayne are portrayed so far.

The series stars Ben Mckenzie as the young Gordon; David Mazouz as the young Bruce Wayne, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth and Gordon’s partner Harvey Bullock is played by Donal Logue.

The story is based on James Gordon’s early life and the villains he faced, like Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, Jada Pinkett as Fish Mooney, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle, and Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma.

In the story, Bruce Wayne’s parents just died so Alfred puts him under his wing; right after the death of his parents, the crime rate of Gotham began to rise. So Gordon and Bullock team together to stop all the crimes in Gotham to make the town happy as it was.

This show really brings out the past of the original Batman movies, and it is really interesting to be able to know what happened before Batman came into Gotham.

Gotham’s new shows air every Friday at 8 p.m. on FOX.
