Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an action-packed thriller; it is based on the 1999 cartoon of the original Ninja Turtles. There are four ninja turtles: Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo and Michelangelo. The Turtles and Splinter, a rat, were given mutant powers, in a science lab. One day, the lab caught on fire leaving the Turtles and Splinter alone in a cage, but April O’Neil, one of the scientist’s daughters, saved them and put them in the sewer for safety.

Later on in the movie, Splinter and the turtles began to grow, so splinter began to take care of them, like a father figure. Splinter became a master of karate to teach the turtles one day. This movie does have violence, but it is also a comedy. This movie has amazing graphics, which makes the movie and the turtles look realistic. I recommend taking the family to see this movie, because of the comedy and action that little children always love.
