Students in Family Studies classes can be seen around the school with a baby simulator. The project they are currently working on is the Teen Pregnancy Baby Simulator. Students are required to change the baby’s clothes and care for them when they cry.

“At first it was okay, but once it started crying a lot it got super annoying,” Destiny Henry, fr., said. “Throughout the project, I learned I never want to have children. They are a lot of work, and it makes doing other things difficult.”

Other activities that FACS classes have taken part in are: Egg Baby Project, Dorm Room Budgeting, and Fitness Friday as they work to build skills in sewing, cooking, career-finding, relationship-building and general life skills.
